Narrowleaf Milkweed
Also known as the Mexican whorled milkweed, the narrowleaf milkweed is found throughout most of the American western states and is a favorite food source for monarch butterflies, as well as other nectar-loving insects and butterflies. This was found growing in large numbers in Southern Washington along the Columbia River Gorge.
